Welcome to Woods Quarter Horses! We are a small farm located in South-Central Kentucky dedicated to preserving and promoting the Foundation bloodlines of the American Quarter Horse. “Foundation” is synonymous with disposition, conformation, and ability in a Quarter Horse. Woods Quarter Horses strives to “breed the quarter horse back into the quarter horse” with Conformation, Disposition, and Ability. 2010 Foal's are on the way - Keep checking back for updates!! Our standing sire is Judge Blackburn. ‘Judge’ is a ’93 gray son of Mr. Poco Blackburn. He carries 98+% Foundation breeding standing 14.3 hands and weighing 1150 lbs. Judge has limited showing in FQHR affiliate shows winning in Halter and placing in performance and timed events. He has sired point earners in the FQHR, WFQHA, ARHA, and local shows. His biggest asset is siring foals with conformation & disposition; he has never failed to give us a foal to be proud of! Judge will be offered to a limited number of outside mares. INFORMATION POSTING: Judge Blackburn is enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund and the KyQHA Breeder's Incentive fund for 2008 & 2009! What does this mean for you?
